Dear Members,

I am honoured and humbled to be chosen by the Executive Committee as the new President of STEMIO.

On behalf of the Executive Committee, I would like to thank all of you for giving me the opportunity to serve you, and we request your support and active participation in the activities of STEMIO. I need your comments, suggestions, and constructive criticism as I attempt to learn the ropes and succeed in this challenging task. I look forward to incorporating all member’s enthusiasm and new ideas into this managing committee. As I prepare to commence the new term, I wanted to take a moment to pass along my heartfelt thanks to all my senior colleagues and former presidents who made STEMIO a force to be reckoned with. I am very fortunate to have the knowledge base of my senior colleagues to help me along.

My focus is to keep in touch with our members regularly, understand their requirements, and extend our assistance, when it is required, to facilitate their service requirements with the funding authorities. I request that members submit their current and recent projects to us, so that I can assist and negotiate with funding agencies, both private and public. Our members are working closely with students and young stem researchers to help them build their area of research according to their interests. We are also working together with professors, scientists, academic researchers, and industrial experts to reach their desired people or students.
